1.4) The can shall be equipped with a friction type umbrella cover. Two holes, 1.11 centimeters (7/16 inch) in diameter, shall be punched on opposite sides of the rim of the cover. The cover cap shall fit snugly into the neck of the can to prevent spilling of liquid contents.
1.5) The cans shall be die-stamped and must have stamp identification marking including the manufacturer’s name (code), (5 or 10 gallon) capacity of the can, and date of fabrication.
1.6) Workmanship- The can shall be free from any defect that may affect its appearance, performance, or use.
2.) Quality Assurance:
Product Conformance: The product provided shall meet the salient characteristics of this commercial item description. The quality of the product sold to the government shall be equal to or better than the quality of the product sold to the government shall be equal to or better than the quality if the product sold by the manufacturer in the commercial market. The government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance.
3.) Application for copies of technical documents referenced herein: The issue date in effect on date of invitation for bids or request for proposal shall apply.

4.) Preparation for Delivery: Preservation, packaging, packing, and labeling, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or purchase order.
